For the first time since New York City Ballet has been in residence at Lincoln Center, the Company will present a new fall performance season, September 14 - October 10, 2010. To celebrate this exciting moment in our history, we will host this year's Fall Gala on Thursday, October 7th, replacing our benefit event traditionally held during Thanksgiving week. This glamorous evening, with Sarah Jessica Parker as honorary chairman, promises to make a big splash in its triumphant return to New York's fall cultural calendar. The one-time-only gala program features the New York premiere of a ballet by Principal Dancer Benjamin Millepied (with a newly commissioned score from Pulitzer-Prize winning composer David Lang), along with works by Jerome Robbins and George Balanchine.
